Gulshan Group and IHCL announce Taj-branded hotel and residences in Noida
Gulshan Group and Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced on March 18, 2026, a ₹1,000 crore investment to develop Taj Skyscape, a Taj-branded hotel and residences in Noida. The 57-storey mixed-use development is located in Sector 129 along the Noida Expressway.
Project composition and scale
The development comprises a 150-room Taj hotel and 74 Taj-branded serviced apartments. The hotel occupies the lower and mid sections and includes an all-day dining restaurant, bar, two specialty restaurants, an 8,000 sq.ft. ballroom with meeting rooms, swimming pool, gym, health club, and J Wellness Circle spa.
The upper floors house 74 Taj-branded serviced apartments, each spanning approximately 7,500 sq.ft. Residents have exclusive access to a private residents' club featuring terraced gardens, children's play area, lounge spaces, sports facilities, and an infinity swimming pool.
Investment and revenue
The project involves an investment of ₹1,000 crore and is projected to generate revenues of around ₹2,000 crore. The investment will be financed through internal accruals, sales collection, and debt via collaborations with financial institutions. Around 50 per cent of the inventory has been sold, with buyers including high net-worth individuals primarily from South Delhi and MSME owners from Noida.
Architectural significance
The project will be the tallest Taj Hotel in India and the first Taj property in Noida. It marks the second Taj-branded residential project in the country, after Chennai. Sector 129 offers seamless access to the DND Flyway, Jewar International Airport, and the upcoming Film City.
Strategic positioning
IHCL Managing Director and CEO Puneet Chhatwal noted that India's rising affluence is driving demand for luxury products and branded residences, and that the development will set a new benchmark for luxury in the National Capital Region. For Gulshan Group, Skyscape represents a bold bet on Noida's evolving luxury real estate narrative.
Gulshan Group indicated plans to partner with Taj for similar serviced apartment projects across other micro-markets.
Timeline
The project is targeted for completion by 2031.
