Partnership Brings First Taj Hotel to Noida
Gulshan Group announced a partnership with Tata Group-owned Indian Hotels Company Ltd to invest Rs 1,000 crore to set up a Taj Hotel and Taj-branded services apartments in Noida. This will be IHCL's first luxury hotel in Noida, a suburb of Delhi, which doesn't have any major five-star hotels, barring one. The announcement, made in March 2026, marks a significant expansion of branded luxury hospitality and residential offerings in the National Capital Region.
Project Details and Configuration
The 57-floor building will have a hotel as well as branded residences. It will feature a Taj hotel with 150 rooms and 74 Taj-branded serviced apartments. The Taj-branded serviced apartments will present ultra-luxury residences spanning approximately 7,500 sq ft each, designed for connoisseurs of elevated living.
The project, which will be in Sector 129, Noida, along the expressway, is expected to be completed over the next five years. Sector 129 is exceptionally well-connected to major arterial routes, facilitating smooth travel to Delhi, Greater Noida, and beyond.
Hospitality and Dining Amenities
The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and two speciality restaurants. For conferences, the project will include an 8000 sq ft ballroom. Wellness and recreation will be central to the guest experience, with access to a swimming pool, gym, health club, and Taj's celebrated J Wellness Circle.
Residents' Amenities
Residents will enjoy exclusive access to a private Residents' Club featuring terraced gardens, a children's play area, lounge spaces, sports facilities, and an infinity swimming pool.
Strategic Location and Market Context
Sector 129, Noida, is a premium residential and commercial corridor located along the bustling Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Renowned for its strategic placement within the Jaypee Greens Wish Town township, it serves as a modern urban hub that perfectly balances corporate infrastructure with serene living.
For Taj, this is the second branded residence after Chennai. The project underscores growing demand for branded ultra-luxury residences in India's tier-one markets outside the country's traditional metropolitan centres.
